Multnomah Falls


Another favorite spot in Oregon - this time in the Columbia River Gorge. You can hike up to the bridge and feel really cool, or you can hike to the top, take an hour, nearly die, but then look ALL the way down! (The falls are in two parts, in case you haven't been there.)

Ships At Newport Harbor


Saw this quiet scene while on a wonderful trip with our 2013 Logos grads to the Oregon coast. Newport was a great town, had tasty seafood (of course), and a busy harbor. But these boats were just waiting...

Jonah's Barns


Hannah Grieser took a photo of these barns that her family passed repeatedly on their way to and from Spokane for her son, Jonah's, treatments for cancer. I loved the shot, the barns and most of all the devotion and faith of their family. Jonah's back at school and this is me rejoicing with them! Welcome back, Jonah!

Steamship Idaho On St. Joe River

Thanks to my friend Joel King who sent me an old postcard image of the actual steamer "Idaho'! Never knew there was such a ship! He sent some other images I may have to give a shot at, too. This one wasn't too easy since the postcard was a black and white photo that had been hand-tinted, in colors I didn't care for - so I had to change them up.
